sabah trip part 6 - 8th of june

continue from part 5, i did said that a few of us woke up early for something right? we were actually trying to catch a glimpse of the sunrise in Kudat but we failed. then we head back to hotel and wait for the others. then, we head to the Simpang Mengayau, the tip of Borneo.

conquered tough terrain and reached the tip. breathtaking scenary. camwhoring for a few hours at the tip and spotted sea turtles (only me). then played at the Kalampunian beach (one hell-of-a-beautiful-i-ever-see). saw a few dying giant jellyfish being pushed to the shore. had hell of fun at the beach. then lunch at the tip cafe and enjoy the most breathtaking view while taking our lunch. dry our clothes too as the sun is too bright.

reluctantly leave the tip for Rungus Longhouse, Kampung Sumangkap - Gong making, and Kampung Gombizau - Honey bee farm. Camwhoring at the longhouse, then hit the gong like mad in Kampung Sumangkap, then enjoy the honey at Kampung Gombizau.

next we on our way back to KK. one of the most excited/kanchiong road trip ever as our cars were low on fuel and there is not a single petrol kiosk can be found in a-don't-know-how-many-kilometres radius. finally with the help of the local people, we found petronas. Elsa was pushing me to go faster as the sky is turning dark.

finally reach KK around 1900, but Elsa seems to suffered short term memory lost. then she called for help to ask for the direction to the restaurant. after some guidance, we finally found the really secluded restaurant and most of us wonder how the hell Elsa and her friends got to know about this restaurant. then, had our very nice dinner (the employee messed up the order and we actually got more than what we ordered but paying at the same price). Alex was unable to join us for dinner as there is miscommunication. tapao 1 coconut pudding and failed to try LOKAN as we were running out of time with our SLKs.

then, refill our drinking water supply and return our SLKs. then back home and rest for the destination.

we were so happy to watch the sun rise
however it seems like god is playing a fool with us
no obvious sun rise was spotted
after checking-out, we went on our journey to Simpang Mengayau - the tip of Borneo
