a little bit update

lately nothing much going on my car modifications list. just did normal alignment and balancing at a tyre shop outside my place after i felt my car handling was a little weird. did front disc skimming too after felt vibration while depressing the brake pedal. changed front disc brake pads which is necessary after disc skimming. also, changed to a better car alarm (cheapo cap ayam). that's all for now. more to come if i have $$$. haha

flashback~

the other day i was browsing through some files in my home pc, then found out that i have tons of songs which i have not listen since ages ago. since i have nothing to do, so i decided to choose a few must-listen-songs from a few bands to recall some memories from those day when i am still a metal music freak! those songs i selected are

'The Beautiful People' by Marilyn Manson

'Die Motherfucker Die' by Dope

'Master of Puppets' by Metallica

'Blind' by KoRn

'Cowboys from Hell' by Pantera

'Guerilla Radio' by Rage Against The Machine

'Bombshell' by Powerman 5000

'Chop Suey' by System Of A Down

all songs by Slipknot (my all-time favourite)!

i have also selected a few songs from other bands but there are too many for me to list them all out in here. songs from murderdolls, mudvayne, trivium, motorhead, HIM, AC/DC, coal chamber are nice to listen to once a while. although now i seldom listen to metal music but i still like them alot and i guess not many people know that. haha. only those who know me well.

these musics reminds me of those days in secondary when most of my friends were into music scene such as jamming and etc. it is good to recall such memories. haha. and currently listen to these musics bring different kind of feeling. but no matter what, i still have the metal blood inside of me. haha metal rules! haha

sabah trip pt11 - 13th june

on the last day of the Sabah trip, we went to Monsopiad Cultural Village, which cost us RM20 per pax. we got up later abit this day cause all of us were half past dead. we separated in 2 cars which me and alex became drivers of the day. upon reaching the cultural village, we were alil bit late for the show, after registering, we quickly move to the stage to catch the performance and luckily we were still on time. the show was nice and around 1 hour long. we also joined in the bamboo dance, it was fun. during the performance, the workers there served us drinks too.

after the show, we went to redeem a complimentary rice wine because it was supposed to be served during the show, never mind, better late than nothing.

after rice wine session, a nice lady tour guide showed us around the village, first was the hanging bridge, this bridge is built for unsure reason, maybe too much money kot. haha.

then next to the house of skulls, in this house, it showcase the skulls collected Monsopiad, the true kadazan warrior. all of these skulls are real human skulls. also, there were many traditional items in the house such as traditional accessories and pictures of the high priests. we were supposed chant something which shown on top of the door before entering but we did not. according to the tour guide, it is ok because the door was opened and there were people inside, so we were lucky. haha

then back to the village, we had fun while playing some traditional games and tour around the village to check out some of the traditional tools and long house. unfortunately alex was not feeling well due to minor food poisoning.

then we went back to town to have lunch and alex left us as he needed some rest. we had triangle chicken rice. after lunch, we bought some dried seafood at very low price.

then we headed back to elsa place on 2 separate trips, cause only had 1 car. me again the driver. haha. upon reaching home, took a quick shower and pack up everything and become the driver yet again to fetch them to the airport. the traffic jam in Sabah during the rush hour is almost like in KL. i was stucked in a jam while fetching the second group. we were almost late for the flight but thanks for alex's fast and furious driving skill, we were on time to collect the boarding pass. had dinner at the airport and rush to the departure hall. and board the plane and find our seats. i was sleeping throughout the journey. damn tired wei

we reached KL LCCT about 2230 and there was no transport for us to go back malacca. cheong hong and mei syn went back with cheong hong's sister. then left 6 of us spent the night at LCCT. i was unable to sleep well throughout the night. watched Euro'08 and lepak at McD.

we catch the earliest bus back to PuduRaya (0630) and bought the 0900 bus back to malacca. i slept throughout both of the trip and luckily did not missed the stop from LCCT back to Pudu. reached malacca at 1100 and finally, home sweet home after 11days of adventurous trip.

love the trip though.
