mr.dopeisgood: sabah trip pt 8

this day, our destination was Pulau Tiga, the survivor island (still the venue for the very first popular reality tv show survivor?). this trip cost us RM178 per pax which included meals, lodging and transportation from kuala penyu to pulau tiga.

we got up as early as possible (around 0600), and then took a private van (for rental) to bus station. the driver was good to helped us ask around the transport to kuala penyu. in the end we bought bus tickets (1 borneo bus RM12 per pax) to Kayul Station. again most of us slept during the journey. then upon reaching Kayul Station, we hoped onto a private van to Kuala Penyu Jetty which cost RM2 per pax and reached the jetty before 1000.

then, we took speed boat to Pulau Tiga and it took us around 20 to 30 mins to reach there, and upon reaching, the guys at Pulau Tiga Resort gave slight briefing about the island and activities available and then showed us our room. after putting all our stuff in the room, then begin to explore the island (the beach was kinda disappointing as it was full of rubbish and dirty due to huge waves). first, we cam whored around the resort. then played beach volleyball. then had buffet lunch and rest for a moment.

then we jungle trek to MUDVOLCANO. it is actually mud from volcano and you can dip inside the mud pool. it is said to be good for skin. after mud volcano, we jungle trek again to other side of the island to clean ourselves and we walked almost 3km for this trip.

after the jungle trekking, some of us went back to the room to take a bath while me, aho, cheong hong, mei syn and elsa went to the jetty and have some fun there.

then, we went for dinner and took bath after that. our night started with some pool and karaoke session. too bad that the entertainment closed early and we went back to the room to play UNO. then, some of us went out to have a chat by the seaside. i joined them later for a moment as i was dead beat tired.
